i Amazing speed, skill and accuracy were c.cuionstiated by the visiting Hungarian table tennis players. Bellak and Barna, in matches here last night with Wairarapa and Wellington playere. They set a standard never seen locally and amazed the crowd with the science and technique of their game. The Hungarians -won all their games with comparative ease, although several of the local players put up great fights. In a thrilling singles game, Barna beat Bellak in three brilliant set* Results:—L. Bellak (Hungary) beat J. -Nicholls (Mastcrton), 21—10. 21—3- V Barna (Hungary) beat H. Myers (Mau-1-iceville). 21—5, 21—5: Bellak beat N. Myerfi (Mauriceville), 21—11, 21—17; Barna beat K. Clarke (Masterton), 21—6, 21—7Bellak and Barna beat L.
