STORED BLOOD.

USE IN EMERGENCY. SERVICE IN NEW ZEALAND. The possibilities of the use of stored blood in cases of emergency, both in peace and war, will be among the subjects discussed at the second annual meeting of the National Blood Trans-fusion-Council of New Zealand, which will open to-morrow at the Wellington Public Hospital.

The council, which is conducted under the auspices of the C'ommandery in New Zealand of the Order of St. John, began its work last year, when the first meeting was held, all the delegates attending being elected to the council. The chairman, Dr. P. P. Lynch, of Wellington, will preside.
