WINTER SPORTS POPULAR.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TAIHAPE, this day. Several parties of Taihape winter sports enthusiasts took advantage of the ideal weather conditions to make a trip to National Park over the weekend. Owing to the large crowd late comers were unable to obtain equipment. There was severe congestion of traffic on the road to the ski grounds.
