EXPENDITURE ON ROADS. CANTERBURY MOVE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. As a first step in what is hoped will be a concerted effort to have motor taxation devoted wholly to highways purposes, the Canterbury Progress League called a conference thi* morning.
