MANTTKAU CRUISING CLUB. ANNUAL PRIZE NIGHT. t The Manukau Cruising Club held their annual presentation of prises won during the past season at the Foresters' Theatre, Onehunga. on Saturday evening, in the presence of Sir Ernest Davis, patron of the club, Mr. A. G. Osborne, M.P. for Manukau, and a big attendance of members and representatives of city clubs. The presideut, Mr. T. Pardington, jun., briefly outlined the past season's activities, which included six harbour and three cruising races for yachts and motor boats. He thanked the club's executive and all who had assisted to make the season a record one, and requested the patron, Sir Ernest Davis, to present the prizes.

Sir Ernest Davis congratulated the club on its continued success and said, judging by the fine array of prizes, the winners had been well treated. On behalf of the yachtsmen on his side of the island he thanked the Manukau yachtsmen for the part they had taken in the Cornwell and Sanders Cup contests and hoped to see more Onehunga boats visit Auckland to take part in the Anniversary Regatta. Mr. A. G. Osborne -also congratulated the officers and members for their good work for Onehunga, and wished the club continued success.

The following were the principal prize winners :—Yachts : Walter Denison Champion Cup. Mystic; McQahan Cup. Perseus, Fearon Challenge Cup. Mystic: Ross Ci p. Topsv; 15;iker Cup and miniature, Opah, Briscoe Points Cup, Shirley; Fearon Handicap Cup, Topsy. Motor boats: House points cup, Walmea. Other prize winners were:—-Yart»ts: Wixie M.. Foam, Topsy. Opah. Mala, Shirley, Mvstcrv, Alonw. Sea Xymph. Maile, Vagabond. Ranui, Mystic. Perseus. Committeemen's l^ce.—Foam (L. Gibbs), Maile (S. Kenton). Mistral (J. Heighway). Indies' Race.—Mystery (Mrs. J said i. Foam (Miss S. (Mist M. Mcintosh). Motor Boats.—Matariki, W«iniea, EUna, Miss Muffit, Karma, Marateu (Miss A. J.oefiehl).
