45,000 TONS, 16IN GUNS. (Received 10 n.rn.) LONDON'. June :?0. The First Lord of tile Admiralty. Mr. A. Duff-Cooper, announced that Britain. France and America had agreed to build
battleships of a maximum of 45.000 tons. with a Kiln jrnn limit. He added that Australia and New Zealand did not participate in the discussions hut intimated their concurrence in the chaii"e.
