CONTEST LIKELY.
HOSPITAL BOARD. ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN. The principal business to come up at a meeting of the Auckland Hospital Board to-morrow will be the election of a chairman, and the appointment of permanent committees. There is likely to he a contest for the chairmanship between the present chairman, the Rev. W. C. AVood, and Mr. Allan J. Moody, who was returned for the first time at the recent local body elections as the representative of the One Tree Hill, Onehunga and adjacent areas.
