Sellers asked £'2 (5,3 for Tobaccos and £2 16.2 for Broken Hill Proprietary at the close of business. Almost all Australian issues were marked down, exceptions being Australian Glass, which had an inquiry at £4 12", and Wilcox, Mofflins, with buyers at 5 6. Oil shares relapsed a few pence, but metals looked a little stronger. Mount Morgans gained Id, and North Broken Hills 3d, while Mount Lyells were unaltered.
