The "Daily Telegraph" Rome correspondent says the political situation in Britain is being watched with closest attention.
There is anxiety over the fate of the agreement between Britain and Italy, especially because of the uncomfortable conviction that the end of the .Spanish conflict is not yet in sight.
It is feared that unless the agreement ie soon enforced, it will die a natural death.
