ANXIETY AT WEBTPORT.

(By Telegraph. — Press Association.) WESTPORT, Friday. The Westland Local Bodies and General Labourers' Union, at a meeting held at Westport, commented on the grave situation that may arise iu the event of the Buller River overflowing, and deckled to communicate with the Minister of Marine, the Hon. P. Fraser, urging the immediate necessity of putting a dredge into commission to deal with the menace. The secretary was also instructed to inq ure of the Minister the results of the findings of the commisKion that was appointed to .inquire into the condition cf the harbour some two months ago.
