FURTHER REMAND.

ALLEGATION OF MURDER. LOWER COURT HEARING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. A further remand until Wednesday next was granted by Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., to-day, in the case of Douglas Alexander Armstrong, charged with the murder of his father. Mr. W. H. Cunningham, the Crown Prosecutor, said he had just received the files, but had not yet had time to prepare his case. He asked for a remand until next Wednesday, and said he would then be ready tcf proceed. | Mr. H. F. O'Leary, K.C., who was' appearing for the accused, was unfortunately placed because of the Ratana railway accident inquiry, but should be in a position next Wednesday to fix a date | for the Magistrate's Court hearing. I Mr. D. Foster appeared for the accused to-day.
