NEW OUTLET FOR AUCKLAND'S TRAFFIC AND ROUTE TO AIRPORT.—The map show* the direction of the eastern arterial highway proposed by the technical group of the Town Planning Association and the Remuera East Ratepayers' Association for the relief of traffic congestion in the city. Avoiding all intersections and linking up with the Tamaki Drive, and including embankments and a tunnel, the road is estimated to cost about £50,000 a mile to construct.
