RAILWAY WORKERS.
PROFESSOR COMMENDED. BRITAIN'S FOREIGN POLICY. A resolution placing on record its appreciation "of the honest expression of opinion, with regard to Britain's [ foreign policy," made by Professor W. |A. Sewell on his recent return from | Great Britain, was passed at the i monthly meeting of the Otahuhu branch' of the Amalgamated Society of Rail-. way Servants during the week. "In the light of our previous experi-l ence of Professor Sewell's interest in political and economic matters," the resolution stated, "we consider that he is eminently capable of judging the issues in question and we admire his outspokenness in expressing his views on matters likely, in the near future, to affect •us as citizens of a section of : the British commonwealth of nations."
