Approximately 7500 people.lay themselves open to prosecution if they take their care out on to the road to-morrow. The 8518 people who have taken out new licensee were not all drivers last year, the number including about 140 persons, who qualified for licenses during May. : y New mStor license* taken out on May 31 were J 447, making the total 11,971. This total was greater by more than 1000 than at May 31 last year.
