i Case of j. mcinally. Recently the jockey J. Mcinally decided to appeal against his suspension for two months by the Franklin Racing Club at its last meeting. Mcinally rode Vaalso in the Harrisville Handicap and was. found guilty of careless riding in that he crossed Gay Streak. Barrister won the race, V aalso was second and Gay Streak third, a nd the judicial committee reversed the placings of Vaalso and Gay Streak. The Auckland District Committee heard the appeal on May 25 and decided to refer the matter back to the Franklin Racing Club for a rehearing. At a meeting of the judicial committee o£ the Franklin Club last evening it was decided to notify the District Committee that after further consideration members of the committee saw no reason to alter their previous decision. The matter will again come before the District Committee at its next meeting.
