ENTERING POLITICS?

Bradman Flatly Denies Rumours In London. FLUENT SPEECH-MAKING. (Received 0.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 29. Arising out of D. G. Bradman's fluent topical speech-making and grip on current problems, rumours are current, especially in Foreign Office circles, that he contemplates entering politics, which he flatly denies, adding that "the idea isn't even at the back of my mind." Mr. R. G. Menzies, Federal AttorneyGeneral, remarked at the Marylebone dinner that "if Mr. Bradman enters politics I hope he will come in on my •ide," and this seems partially responsible for the suggestion. Bradman socially met a number of Foreign Office officials, who were surprised at his interest and quickness in the uptake in international affairs.
