Fortune: s-c----reta'rv-treasurer. Mr. H. Gallop: auditor. Mr V S. Miller. The retinns members of the council. Meiore. .T. H. Battson. J. 11. Bnsor and C. K- Cooke were re-elected nn.l Mr T> K. McCowatl: was appointed an honorary member. Keferrin? to the pr.'?fnt position of the town. Mr. ?aid it was hoped to see a permanent adjustment of rati'.s this year. He advocated a cut of 50 per cent in the loans, with interest at 4 per cent, or an assurance that ratinpr would not be a higher burden than the town could pay.
