RAIL FACILITIES.

NORTH AUCKLAND PROGRESS. By the addition of new trains and the rescheduling of others, residents north of Auckland, particularly those residing beyond Whangarei, are now possessed of the best railway .facilities they have ever enjoyed. A comprehensive reorganisation of the north line services has been effected by the Auckland district traffic manager. Mr. H. C. Couch, with the result that workers and general passengers are now adequately catered for, more frequent and faster goods and live stock trains are running and there is a quicker and more beneficial turnover of all classes of wagons. The readjustment has necessitated nine new trains and the rescheduling of five others.
