At. the annual meeting of the New Zealand Shipwreck Society it was reported that over £15,000 was available tshould a major disaster overcome shipi ping on the Now Zealand coast. \ A member stated that. the society's solicitor had gone into the matter of what claim, if any, might be made upon the society in respect of an airship disaster. The solicitor's opinion had been received, and the society was now in a position to act in the matter. This aspect, of course, was one which the .original founders of the society had never contemplated.
