SPEEDY FLIGHT.

Averaging a ground speed of 1(17 miles an hour, the Auckland Aero Club's Bcccheraft machine made a fast flight from Dunedin to Auckland on Friday, the flying time for the journey being 4h lom. The 'plane, which is specially fitted as an aerial ambulance, was piloted by Flight-Lieutenant D. M. Allan. The times from Dunedin to Blenheim and Blenheim to Mangere were lh 55h and 2h 20m respectively.
