HOSPITAL BOARD

WELCOMED BY CHAIRMAN.

Extending a cordial welcome to new members at a meeting of the Auckland Hospital Board this afternoon, the chairman, the Rev. W. C. Wood, said he sincerely hoped they would have a happy term with the board. He asked members to acknowledge the services of the members who retired, Dr. E. B. Gunson, Messrs. W. Wallace, J. Waddell, W. G. Mulholland and Mrs. A. G. Anderton, who had given valuable service. Mr. Wallace had served the board for practically a quarter of a century. Appreciation was recorded by resolution.
