MAORI CHILD INJURED.
Knocked down by a car on Saturdayevening, a Maori child, Albert Poata. Nepia, four-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Nepia, of Mount Wellington Highway, Ellerslie, suffered a broken nose, abrasions and a fractured foot. He was attended by Dr. E. H. Bryant and taken to the Auckland Hospital. His condition is still fairly serious.
