GOVERNOR ARRESTED.
FItAUD CHARGES IN U.S. STATE NEW YORK, May 20. The Lieutenant-Governor of Connecticut, Mr. Frank Hayes, who is also Mayor of TYaterbury in that SUle, and 20 other prominent persons, have been arrested, charged with juggling with the city's funds. The alleged frauds total 1.000,000 dollars. Bail varying from 5000 to 25,000 dollars was granted.
