OBITUARY.

GRANT HARRIS MACKAY. The sudden death of Grant Harris Mackay came as a great shock to all his .friends at King's College and in Auckland. The elder son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Calder Mackay, he was a lad of fine character and great promise. He entered King's College in 1935 and already at the early age of 16 years had accomplished much. He was a member of the Yltli form, a house prefect in St. John's House and a member of the first NI. He played for the school XV. against Wanganui • College on the last day of the last term. He was an active member of the debating society and . the literary society. The funeral will take place from King = College Chapel on Mondav next at 2.4-5 p.m., and it is expected that although the school is on vacation, many boys will attend.
