(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. Other charges were pending, said Detective-Sergeant Tolmes, when Gordon Vincent Anderson was charged to-day with false pretences. He was remanded until May 26 on bail of £300. The charge was that he obtained f250 from; William Andrew Erasmuson by falsely representing that this was for part payment of £1000 worth of sports goods ordered from England by an Auckland syndicate.
