AMALGAMATION OPPOSED.
(From Our Correspondent.) COROMANDEL, Friday. Dissatisfaction with the amalgamation of the Coroniandel hospital district with the Thames hospital district was expressed at a public meeting called to dfceuss the position. A resolution that the meeting convey to the Minister of Health, the Hon. P. Fraser, the opinion that with Thames be v? ver * n d that the Coromandel ipunty ;again get up its own hospital • district, was adopted.
