COMMITTEES ELECTED.

WHAXGAREI, Thursday. The biennial meeting of householders of the Mangapai school district, post; jKined from a previous date on account of wot weather, was held last night, when the election of the school committees took place. Proposed consolidation with TiUiruioa school was discussed, the suggestion being rejected by the meeting. The committee was elected as follows: Mr. J. Finlayson (chairman), Mr. C. Cotton (.secretary), and Messrs. D. Gulliiansen, K. MeConnell and A. Thomson. At Kamn the following were elected: Mr. \X. Mark with (chairman), Mr. J. Paterson (secretary), Mrs. E. A. Wilkinson and Misses W. Boswell and 0. A. Martin.
