FILM EXHIBITORS.
REGULATIONS GAZETTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON*, Thursday. Regulations dealing with the issue of licenses to cinematograph film exhibitors are published in the Gazette to-night. The regulations are more or less machinery measures imposing certain restrictions on the holders of licenses for the exhibition of first-run or secondrun films. The Gazette also announces the appointment of the following members of the Cinematograph Film Operators Licensing Board:—Mr. R. M. G. Butcher, chairman; Air. R. McG. Stewart, representing the Film Exchanges' Association; Mr. G. Gregory, representing the Federated Motion Picture Projectionists' Industrial Association; Mr. H. F. Lamb, the Motion Picture Exhibitors' Association; and Mr. F. F. Gilmore. electrical engineer having no financial interest in the film industry.
