SEQUEL TO COLLISION

HAMILTON, thk day.

General damages totalling £2000 and special damages of £160 were claimed in the Supreme Court to-day in a case in which Bessie Ashton, married woman, of Rotorua, was the plaintiff, and the defendants were Austin Whittaker, commercial traveller, of Auckland, and Kathleen Gordon, nurse, of Wanganui. Plaintiff was a passenger in a car driven by Miss Gordon which collided with another car driven by Whittaker at Rotorua on July 18 last, plaintiff receiving severe 'injuries. Plaintiff illeged negligence.
