MAILS SUPERVISOR.
MB. STITCHBURY RETIRES. After occupying the position of senior supervisor in the mail room at the Auckland Chief Post Office for a number of years, Mr. M. H. Stitchbury retired on superannuation at the end of last week. At a largely-attended staff gathering held in the mail room he was presented by Mr. W. G. Cooper, chief postmaster, with a tea service and several books from the various departments of the Chief Post Office. A tribute was paid by Mr. Cooper to his ability and popularity. Mr. Stitchbury's successor has not yet been appointed.
