SUNNY DAY AT AVONDALE.

Frocks on the Lawn for Second Day of Meeting. The clear blue sky and beautiful sunshine that heralded the day attracted a large number ot racegoers to Avondale to-day for the second day of the Avondale jockey Club's autumn meetiug- . Tailored suits in a weave that was not too heavy and. yet had sufficient warmth to temper a cool breeze were the order of the day and contributed to the smart appearance of the women on the lawns. Felt hats in tlie fashion's latest styles, with high and folded crowns gave a further touch of chic. Black with white accessories was a favourite colour while navy blue, brown, dark greens and tan shades also held their own. Among those present were: — Mrs. J. E.
