MASTER PRINTERS.

ANNUAL MEETING HELD. CO-ORDINATION PLAN. The annual meeting of the Auckland Master Printers' Association was held last evening in the. Employers' Association rooms. Mr. F. .T. Dawson presided over a good attendance of town and country members.

In liis review of the year's activities, Mr. Dawson said that the main item of importance had been the production br an Auckland committee of a plan of co-ordination for the industry. XhU plan bad been fully discussed by the annual meeting of the Master Printer*' held in Wellington in March, and had been remitted back to Auckland to be implemented. During the Tear there had also been put into operation the completion of a new price list and data for cost scales and operational times.

Messrs. Guy, of Eotorua, and Veimell, of Cambridge, criticised the organisation of minting affairs in New Zealand, and requested consideration of methods that could effectually co-ordinate the interests of the country newspapers and the commercial printers of the Dominioa Messrs. F. J. Dawson. A. Dennison and fc. Aldridge assured the country" members that the interests of everv section of the industry had received all possible consideration.

The balance sheet was adopted, and the levy for the year was confirmed at the rates previously ruling. The election of officers resulted ai follows:—President, Mr. C. G. Herdmanv.ce president, Mr. V.
