DEATH FROM BURNS.

INQUEST CONCLUDED. The inquest into the death of Mrs. Jessie Rouse, aged 51. of Riverhead. who died in the Auckland Hospital on March 29 as a result of bums received when her dress caught lire as she was burning off a patch of grass, was concluded before Mr. F. K. Hunt. S.M.. coroner, vesterdav.

Dr. K. McXamara said Mrs. Rouse was admitted to hospital in the afternoon suffering from extensive second and third degree burns, which caused her death the same night.

A verdict was returned that deatli was due to burn* suffered wheu the dead woman's dress caught fire.
