CRICKET FINALS.

SHORE TOO GOOD.

WINS SENIOR B AGAIN. u ALL SQUARE" IN THIRD GRADE. In the Auckland Cricket Association's competition finals on Saturday, North Shore had no difficulty in beating Eden in the senior B final, winning by 139 runs on the* first innings. This makes the eighth success of the suburbanites in the 12 seasons this championship lias been running. Technical Old Boys easily vanquished I'apatoctoe, whose form on the city pitch (No. 3, Kden Park) was disappointing. In the third grade an interesting position developed, aa Bridgens (who batted first) and Xorthcote both made 97 in the first innings. Eventually, the Waitemata eleven was left to make 120 in an hour for victory; but only half that number was on the board for four wickets when stumps were drawn and the game thus ended in a tipIt would seem that Xorthcote and Bridgens will be bracketed as champions for the year. In a friendly ftenior game Parnell beat Ponsonby by nine wickets, M. Wallace making a century. Scores: — NORTH SHORE V. EDEN. EDEN. First innings 17S NORTH SHORE.—First Innings. D.
