LORD TENNYSON'S OPINION. DESTINY DEPENDS ON WEATHER. (By Telegraph.— Association.) WELLINGTON, this (l»\v. Questioned as to England's changes of winning "The. Ashes" of cricket from the Australians in the Test matches in England this year. Lord Tennyson (captain of England in 1021*. who is a passenger on the Empress of Britain, said : "If it is n wet season I think England will win : hut if the season be a dry one Australia should win."
