INTER-DOMINION TROTTING

CHRISTCHURCH, Monday

Seven Australian horses accepted for the inter-Dominion trotting championships and it is likely further additions will be made with the arrival of the Australian mail in Christchurch on Wednesday.

The horses are entered for all three qualifying events and the Grand Final. They are Joy's John. Kernel Lu, Our Walla and Picador, limit; Dan's Son, Kolect and .Lady Chiidewood, l'2yds behind.

The championship committee decided to-night to run each championship qualifying cve.-.t in three heats, instead of in four heats as recently announced and an additional handicap race will be placed on each day's programme in place of the fourth heat.
