TIMBER WORKERS' UNION.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS,
The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Timber Workers' Union, which was held on Saturday:—President. Mr. J. Grant; vice-president. Mr. ]{. Watson; treasurer, Mr. H. Constance, committee, Messrs. H. Bow, N. Wright, E. G. Fenner. F. Boon and H. Bickerton.
It was reported that there was a financial membership of 1450, and the secretary, Mr. 1". Craig, was congratulated on the state of the finances.
It was decided to donate £100 to the Labour party's election fighting fund and £10 10/ to the organising fund.
