ASSOCIATION FORMED. | Under the title "The Auckland Entertainers' Association (Incorporated)," a new society came into being last evening when a large meeting, representative of I various classes of professional entertainers | ill this city ratified a set of rules and I regulations. The general effect of those I rules is that members will not perforin | professionally without fees. Exceptions i are that performances may be given at • hospitals and certain other institutions! without fees, except that transport and j oilier out-of-pocket oxpenfvs will be paid for. The annual subseiption to the asso- . elation was fixed at T / <>. payable in ; advance, and the funds are to he devoted solely to the aims of the society.
