TT. T. Morton has ajrreed. to accept nomination for the forthcoming Mayoral election at Te Kuiti. He was approached by a large number of electors. Mr. Morton, who is a barrister and solicitor, stood for the Mayoralty in 193."). when he was beaten by the small mar<rin of 13 votes by the present Mayor, Mr. T. M. Carroll.

Following a meeting of business men, it was announced that Mr. E. MacKersev would be a candidate for the Mavoraltv.
