ALLEGED MURDER.
MAN AGAIN REMANDED
SEQUEL TO FATHER'S DEATH.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Roland Leslie Kay, aged 40, was again remanded for a week when lie was charged in the Magistrates Court today with the murder of liis father on March 20.
An elderly man, Mr. John Kay, was found shortly after 10.1.5 p.m. on March 20 lying 1 in a poo] of blood outside tlie back door of his home in 14. 'W illard Street. Spreydon. Xn pun was found alongside the body, but it is understood that the police recovered a shotgun fvom a section. Mr. Kay had been shot with a shotgun at tbe back of the head, just above the top of the neck. He was rushed to hospital, but was dead when the ambulance arrived there. '1 he following day Roland Leslie Kay. aged 40 [years, was charged before Mr. E. C. Levvev, S.M., with the murder of his fntlipr.
