The short course of four lectures that is being organised by the W.E.A. this year us a preliminary to the opening of th.e tutorial classes should prove of exeeptioniil interest. The course in under the general heading of "Is Freedom Challengeti?" The firet lecture. "Freedom Under the Labour Plan" will be given by the new director of the W.E.A., Mr. P. Martin Smith, M.A., LL.B., at the Oltl Grammar Schools, Symonds Street, at 7.30 to-inorrow night.
