The level of prices fell for industrials and was a fraction easier for metals. Once again the early divisions eaw so little change in values that interest flagged badly. Not until the miscellaneous group was reached did any business result. Then Electrolytic Zincs and G. J. Coles came in with sales of 100 shares and 50 shares respectively. Coles were 9d down at 79. 9. and more on offer at the same figure. Electrolytic Zinc ordinaries brought 44/ and 43 11, and sellers later asked 44 1 Australian Glass and Broken Hill Proprietary failed to attract and unsupported sellers of the former asked 90/3. 8.H.P.« were quoted between 59'7 and •>°;9. The first seller of Dominion Fertilisers to appear for a long time quoted 25/. Buyers are still firm at 23/9. Tavanaki Oilfields were steady from 6'2 to 6/5 Selling orders for Mount Lyells were placed at 29. 11, but buyers stopped at 2d below Mount Morgans seemed- a fraction brighter, buyers offering 9, ~Vz.
