PILLION RIDER KILLED.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TIMAKU, Friday. When the motor cycle on the pillion of which he was riding collided with a car driven bv Mr. B. Simmons, a 19-year-old youth. James Bell, was killed. The rider of the motor cycle, George Keene. of Woodbury, was seriously injured. He was sent to hospital with a compound fracture of the light thigh and ankle. His condition is serious, but ie is expected to recover.
