AUCKLAND HOME SERVICE

K A resume of the month's activities was presented at a meeting of the Auckland Hoipe Service Association by the secretary, Miss "Violet Coutts, on behalf of the manager, Miss E. C. Tullock. It was stated that during February more engagements had been tilled than in the previous month. There was still a shortage of "helper," members. Several calls for assistance at dinner, tea and cocktail parties had been received and had been satisfactorily supplied, and the manageresses, housekeepers and helpers had been sent to country members. Many requests for casual help had also been satisfactorily supplied. It was further reported that the manageress had been given leave to visit Australia, and Miss Pollock had been appointed to the vacancy. Mrs. J. T. F. Mitchell and Mrs. W. E. Morgan were appointed the accociation's delegates to the National Council of Women.
