SESSION'S END.
BILLS EXPEDITED. FORMALITIES TO-DAY. WAITING ON UPPER HOUSE. LEGISLATIVE APPROVAL. (By Tslojrrnph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. ■Rising at 11 o'clock last night, the House of Representatives had cleared the oirler paper of all measures which the Government wished to have passed. The Prime Minister, Mr. Savage, secured urgency for the Sharemilking Agreements Bill and the Statutes Amendment Bill, but it turned out that there was no real necessity for this motion as members generally wished to expedite matters. Questions were asked and answers discussed, this process occasionally slowing up a quick pace, but when the day finished nothing was left but to await the Legislative Council's agreement to the following bills which have been put through all stages: —Share Milking Agreements, Statutes Amendment and Reserves and Other Lands Disposal, the last mentioned being a miscellaneous series of machinery clauses. The House resumed this afternoon to complete formalities associated with the session's end.
