ENGINEER LECTURER.
' DEATH- IK AUCKLAND. The - death occurred at. a private hospital yesterday of Mr. Henry William Clothier, who was prominently associated with the electrical engineering industry in England and the United States of America. 111 his early days he was associated with the late Dr. Ferranti and subsequently joined the technical staff of Messrs. A. Revrolle and Company. Limited, of HPbbiirn-on-Tyiie, becoming the managing-director of the company. Mr. Clothier was also closely associated w 'th Sir Charles Parsons Company. Limited, and J. H. Holmes and Company, Limited, both of Xewcastle-on-Tyne. He was on a lecture tour of Xew Zealand. Australia and South Africa on behalf of the Institution of Electrical Engineers. England, of which he was . a member of the council, and whrn- in Auckland he was taken ill.
