PACIFIC ISLANDS.
Australia's Interest in Negotiations. FUTURE AIR ROUTES. (Received 11.30 a.m.) CANBERRA, this day. The Prime Minister, Mr. J. A. Lyons, issued a statement that as Australia is directly interested in future transpacific air routes the Government has asked that it should be associated with the United Kingdom in any negotiations between Britain and America to settle the question of the Phoenix Islands rights.
