PERSONAL.

Mr. F. W. Schramm. M.P.. will leave for Wellington by train' on Monday. Mr. W. T. Anderton, M.P.. will leave by the Limited express for Wellington to-morrow. Mr. A. S. Richards. M.P., arrived in Auckland liy train this morning. ihe Hon. J. Tre\etliick. M.L.C., will leave by the Limited express for Wellington 011 Monday. The Hon. T. Bloodwortli, M.L.C.. chairman of the Auckland Harbour Board, will leave for Wellington by the Limited express to-morrow. He will be accompanied by Mrs. Bloodwortli. Senior Sergeant G. H. Lambert, who is in charge of the uniform branch of the police at Hamilton, will leave by the lainui at the end of this month 011 leave to \isit England. During the four months of his absence lie will be relieved by Sergeant M. Farrell, of Wellington. Mr. .John Dewar, who has retired from the position of Surveyor-General of the Federated Malay State*, is a native of Otago. As a young man he was on the lield staff of the Lands and Survey Dejiartment in Taranaki and the King Country. He joined the Malayan Civil Service in 1900 as an assistant surveyor. Mr. Justice Callan will leave by the afternoon express to-day for Wellington to attend a sitting of the Court of Appeal, which will open 011 Monday. It is expected that as the list of cases is a fairly substantial one his Honor will not be able to return to Auckland until after Latter. As Mr. Justice Ostler is indi:posed and Mr. .Justice Smith is in England. Mr. Justice Callan will not be relieved in Auckland.
