In a voice to reach the sky, • Tliere's no one lost his glasses, We're not hunting low and , e = i There s no mud on the carpet, And the papers tidy lie, We've borrowed all hits pencils, I And there hasn't been a cry, , Of "Where have you put my hammer?"' : Or, "I'm coining, by and by,"' I No, the place is rather empty, And we heave a sigh and say, , "Wonder when our dad's returning, From his yearly holiday *"
