VERSATILITY OF YOUNG OTAHUIIU CLUB MEMBER. Roy Mansill, the Otahuhu crack junior, winner of the club's 100. 220, 4-10 and 880 yards junior championships, is considered hy compelent judges to l>e the most promising athlete in the district. This lad competed with success at the recent provincial championships, winning the 220 yards junior title, running second in the 100 yards, in which event he was beaten by inches hy Doveil, and gained second place in the 440 yards.

In the sliot putt he was placed third. Last season Mansill won the junior 880 yards provincial title and carried off the Grammar School junior cup. A month ago he annexed the Mclvor Cup in a special 880 yards inter-club contest.
